We interviewed Madi, owner of @madthriftfindz (http://madthriftfindz.com) to learn more about her business & how she uses Thryft. Read on to learn about her story.
When did you start your business and why?
I started my business on August 25th of 2020. I had always had a love for thrifting and that eventually resulted in me starting a business with it!
What type of product do you sell on your website?
I sell handpicked thrifted clothing as well as reworked clothing made by me.
How do you sell using Thryft and Instagram?
I use Thryft as my website that is generated through my instagram. The process Thryft had provided has made selling very easy for my customers and I. All i do is link my instagram posts to the site, which customers can purchase from!
How has scaling your business been?
When i first started, i only sold to locals. I later learned how to ship and thats when everything took off! The instagram algorithm is always the most difficult to manage when trying to grow a business. However, being active and engaging with customers is what i learned is best! For me, creating those relationships with others was always the best! I’ve made so many friends throughout my business journey.
How has your experience as a reseller been?
My experience as a reseller has been amazing! The reseller community is so amazing and kindhearted. Not only that but people are very understanding, which makes running this business so much easier :)
